Elina Sue Briggs

ELINA SUE BRIGGS, 56, of Sidney passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at IU Health University Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born on June 18, 1965 in Bellefontaine, Ohio, the daughter of the late Roger and Mary Jane (Briggs) Gross.

She is survived by five children, Mary Waldroop, Earl Briggs, Kinda Briggs, Stephen Blackford and Michael Frank all of Sidney; two grandchildren, Emily and Erica Briggs; three siblings, Heather Martin, Leona Roderick and Roger Gross Jr.; five half siblings and numerous children that she was a caregiver for. Elina was preceded in death by sister, Vonta Briggs.

Ms. Briggs was a caregiver all her life. She was selfless and big hearted. Elina was always caring for other people. She was of Christian faith.
