Edward Eugene Richmond

EDWARD EUGENE RICHMOND, 79 of Sidney, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2026, at 5:47 AM at Kindred Hospital in Lima. He was born on February 26, 1947, in Leslie, West Virginia, the son of the late Joseph and Evelyn (Lee) Richmond.

On September 18, 1967, Edward married Ruth (Myers) who survives along with daughter, Nancy (David) Finn of Sidney, sister, Brenda Richmond of Akron, five grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by daughter, Melissa Cornett, and three siblings.

Edward retired as a mechanic for Dixon’s Auto Parts in White Sulphur, WV. He enjoyed karaoke, fishing, hunting, the outdoors, and loved shooting pool with his best friends.

In keeping with his wishes, Edward will be cremated and the family will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home.
