Eddie D. Briggs

EDDIE D. BRIGGS, age 66 of Sidney, passed away Sunday, September 17, 2023 at 6:52 PM at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born on October 7, 1956 in Sidney, Ohio, the son of the late Reynolds and Willa (Trotter) Briggs.

He is survived by nephew, Johnnie Lee Stuart of Cheyenne, WY, and two nieces: Thieta Stuart-Nathen of Cheyenne, WY, and Willa Norrils of Toledo, OH. He was preceded in death by one sister, Collean Johnson.

Eddie was a Sidney High School Graduate Class of 1975, where he was a standout star on the basketball court and received a full scholarship to Edison State College. He was a Proud and Loved Member of the Community of Sidney Ohio and was a devoted Christian for his entire life.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, September 29, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home with Rev. Philip K. Chilcote officiating. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery in Sidney. Visitation will be on Friday, September 29th from 12:00 PM until the time of service.
