Douglas Blain Richardson

DOUGLAS BLAIN RICHARDSON, 55, of Sidney passed away at 5:18 AM Monday, July 9, 2018 at Ohio State University Medical Center.  He was born on February 9, 1963 in Sidney, Ohio, the son of the late Edward Gail and Pricilla Adaline (Robbins) Richardson. 

Douglas is survived by four daughters, Jessica (Matt) Coppens of Venice, FL, Megan (Shimar) Ivery of Dayton, Courtney (Sean) Gradel of Sidney, and Heather Glass of Anna; five siblings, Jack (Janice) Richardson, Ruth (Jerry) Hutchison, Melanie (Robert Sr.) Roe, Gail (James) Fleming, and Matthew (Tammy) Richardson; and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by brother, David Oscar Richardson, and nephew, Benjamin Bince Valdez. 

Douglas was dedicated to his family, all of whom loved him very much and will miss him dearly. 

A Memorial Service to celebrate Douglas' life will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Cornerstone, Piqua, 8440 King Arthur Blvd., Piqua, with Elder Jamie Wellman officiating.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the church. Burial will take place at a later date at Glen Cemetery.  Arrangements are in the care of Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home, 302 S.
