Denise D. Barnes

Denise D. Barnes, 71, of Sidney, passed away at 5:15 P.M. on Friday, July 3, 2026, at Momentous Health at Sidney. She was born December 2, 1954, in Sidney, Ohio, to the late Kenneth Allen and Doris (Jones) Myers.

Denise is survived by one child, Amy (Brandon) Leigh Jones of New Mexico; three grandchildren, Dalton Gordon, Jouie Barnes, Aaron Jones; Three great-grandchildren, Kendrick Thornton, Oakley-Sy Jones, Leigha Thornton; and five siblings. She was preceded in death by her two sons, Jimmy Shawn Barnes and Marc Anthony Murray, as well as one sister.

Denise loved solving crossword puzzles and playing on her tablet. She also loved spending time with her sister, Susan Gregory.
