David Knasel

DAVID A. KNASEL, 63, of Somerset, Kentucky, formerly of Sidney, passed away on March 3, 2025 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. He was born on April 1, 1961 in Arcadia, California, the son of the late Butch and Brenda (Brooks) Knasel.

David will be deeply missed by his beloved companion of 27 years, Anna Keith; his children, David Knasel Jr. and Tagen Nickle; his sister, Joyce Wood; his brother, John Knasel; and his step-sons, Travis Keith, Billy Keith, Claude Keith, Curtis Keith, and Eugene Keith. He was also a proud grandfather to eight grandchildren, who brought him great joy. He was preceded in death by one brother, James “JD” Knasel Jr.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 14, 2025 at 1 P.M. at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home with Pastor Preston Knasel officiating. Visitation will be on Friday, March 14th from 11 A.M. until the time of service. Burial will follow at Shelby Memory Gardens. Condolences may be made to David’s family at, www.cromesfh.com
