David Girod Obituary

David Brian Girod, age 58, of Sidney passed away on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at 9:16 A.M. at his home. He was born the son of Myron and Sandra (Strohmenger) Smith on November 21, 1962 in Norfolk, VA.

David is survived by his loving family, son Phillip Girod of Ludlow Falls, daughter Sarah (Zac) VanGundy of Columbus, granddaughter Briella VanGundy, siblings Ed Girod of AZ, Kenneth Girod of Sidney, Tracy Francis of Sidney, Daniel Girod of Sidney, and Douglas Smith of Sidney.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Katie Girod, sister-in-law Kathy Girod and a nephew Andrew Francis.

David was a loving father, grandfather and brother. He will be missed by all who love him.
