DAVID LYTLE FOGT, 75 of Maplewood, passed away Saturday, January 24, 2026, at 3:08 PM at Wilson Health in Sidney. He was born on March 11, 1950, in Sidney, Ohio, the son of the late Paul Lytle and Treva Mae (Mouk) Fogt.
On August 7, 1976, David married Judy (Eshleman) who survives, and together they shared almost 50 years of marriage. He is also survived by one sister, Sondra (Mike) Descamps of Rockford, IL, two sisters in law, three brothers in law, 11 nieces and great-nieces, and 11 nephews and great-nephews.
David was a Houston High School Graduate class of 1968. He worked for American Trim in Sidney. He was a friend of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, was an avid NASCAR fan, and was known for his love for Lee’s Chicken.
A Memorial Service for David will be held Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, 707 N. Ohio Ave, Sidney, with Pastor Jim Oates officiating. The family will receive friends in the Fireside Room at the church from 10 AM until the time of service. Arrangements are in the care of Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home.
