Daniel VonAschen Obituary

DANIEL MELVIN VONASCHEN, 68, of Sidney passed away at 9:45 A.M. Saturday, August 15, 2020 at his home. He was born on March 27, 1952 in Piqua, Ohio, the son of the late Melvin and Mary (Kemp) VonAschen.

He is survived by daughters, Kristina (James) Davis of Sidney and Jennifer (Earl) Miller of Dayton; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; former spouse, Kathy VonAschen; and brother, Jerry VonAschen.

Daniel was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He was a member of the American Legion and Amvets. He enjoyed fishing, building puzzles, listening to country western and 70s music. Daniel liked having a good hand in poker and playing slots. Most importantly, Dan loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Following Daniel's wishes, no services are to be held. Arrangements are in the care of Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home and memorial condolences may be expressed to Daniel's family at the funeral home's website, www.cromesfh.com.
