Daniel Comella Obituary

DANIEL R. COMELLA, 79, of Sidney passed away Friday, September 4, 2020 at 10:55 AM at his residence. He was born on August 12, 1941 in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of the late Joseph and Edna (Cushler) Comella. On September 19, 1970, Daniel married the former Barbara Hicks, who survives.

He is survived by two children, Tammi (Brian) Johnson of Sidney and Kevin (Dawn) Comella of Brunswick and five grandchildren, Logan Johnson, Jessica Comella, Caleb Johnson, Emily Comella and Nathan Johnson. Daniel was preceded in death by daughter, Tracey Comella.

Mr. Comella retired after 17 years as a Maintenance Man for Do It Best. Daniel enjoyed boating in his single days. He loved to read and collect books especially reading about the history of all the World Wars. He will be remembered by his family as a great story teller.

In accordance with Daniel's wishes, no services are to be held. Arrangements are in the care of Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home 302 S. Main Ave Sidney. Condolences may be expressed to the Comella family at our website, www.cromesfh.com
