Dale Thomas Wilt

DALE THOMAS WILT, age 71 of Botkins, passed away early Friday morning, July 20, 2018 at his home. He was born on December 23, 1946 in Sidney, Ohio, the son of the late Kenneth and Thelma (Knotts) Wilt.

He is survived by two daughters, Angie Wilt and Mandie Carr both of Sidney, one sister, Connie Wilt of Connersville, IN, and five grandchildren, Zachary Zimpfer, Bryce White, Shelby Crosley, Matthew and Robin Ann Carr.

Mr. Wilt was a 1964 graduate of Botkins High School. He was a Vietnam Veteran, serving his country in the US Army from 1967 to 1969. In 2015 he retired from Airstream after 43 years of service.

Dale was of the Lutheran faith. He loved horse racing, and was an avid Minnesota Vikings and Cincinnati Reds fan.

A Memorial Service to Celebrate Dale's Life will be held Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at 1 PM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave, Sidney, with Rev. Philip K. Chilcote officiating. Burial will follow at Loramie Valley Cemetery in Botkins. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11 AM until the hour of service.
