Connie Wagner

Connie Wagner died on March 23, 2025 at her home in Sidney, Ohio, at 82 years of age. Connie was born in Sidney, Ohio, on April 15, 1942 to the late Leroy and Ruth (Stump) Doseck.

Connie is survived by her two daughters, Christina (Wagner) Cotterman and Carin (Wagner) Martin and her husband Ron;  one beloved grandson, Chandler Cotterman (Asheville, NC) and his fiancée Logan Schultz along with her great granddog, Dewey; and her sisters Kathy Abbott (Don) of Ormand Beach, FL and Deb Hellman, Portland, Maine.

Connie traveled to watch her grandson’s sporting events throughout his childhood to his time as a starting Division I football player.  She loved sports and was a good athlete herself, and years ago traveled with the Sidney-Shelby County YMCA’s racquetball team.

She was employed at the Sidney-Shelby County YMCA for 24 years, retiring in 1999.  After retiring from the YMCA, she was a volunteer at Wilson Memorial Hospital in Sidney, Ohio, as well as FISH Thrift Shop in Sidney, Ohio.
She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Per her wishes, Connie will be interred at Graceland Cemetery, Sidney, Ohio. There will be no visitation hours or funeral service.
