Connie Sue (Accuntius) Daniels

CONNIE SUE DANIELS, 73 of Sidney, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2026, at 5:38 PM at OSU Wexner Medical Center. She was born on August 10, 1952, in Sidney, Ohio, the daughter of the late Richard and Marie (Schneider) Accuntius. On May 27, 1972, she married Robert L. Daniels Jr. who preceded her in death December 5, 2020.

Connie is survived by two children: Michele (Timothy) Hammer, and Keith (Erin) Daniels, both of Sidney, three siblings: Karen (Craig) Lantz, Thomas Accuntius both of Sidney, and Betty (Jon) Bonnoront of Anna, and three grandchildren: Paige, Ian, and Nathan. She was preceded in death by one brother, William Accuntius.

Mrs. Daniels was a graduate of Sidney High School Class of 1970. She was a homemaker who enjoyed crocheting, counted cross stitch, and traveling with her family who she loved, especially her grandkids. She was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church.

Funeral Services for Connie will be held Friday, February 13, 2026, at 12:00PM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Hina officiating. Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery in Sidney. The family will receive friends on Friday from 10:00AM until the time of service.
