Clarissa "Chris" A. (Doseck) Finfrock

Clarissa “Chris” A. Finfrock, born December 30, 1928, passed away peacefully at Brookhaven Assisted Living in Brookville, Ohio on February 16, 2024 at the age of 95.

Her deceased parents were Bernard and Bernadine (Geise) Doseck and her loving stepmother Josephine (Aslage) Doseck. Deceased siblings were MaryAnn and Stephen Doseck, Norma (Ralph) Grieve and Bob Doseck and her living siblings Joan (John) Kraft, Jerry (Phyllis) Doseck, Barb Doseck, and Connie (Dave) Steinke were all a very important part of her life. 

Chris attended Anna High School where she enjoyed playing the drums in the marching band. 

She worked at Stolle Corporation for many years. 

Chris was married to Leroy “Finny” H. Finfrock (deceased) on September 21, 1950, and had three children:  Ronald (Deb) Finfrock, Thomas (Jan) Finfrock and Cathy (Doug) Rhoades. 

She adored spending time with her 8 grandchildren: Chandi, April, Aaron (Ron), Curt, Kelly, Alissa (Tom), Adam and Mason (Cathy), and was thrilled to buy Christmas presents for each of her 19 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. 

Chris was not only faithful to her beloved Catholic Church where she was a member of the Rosary Society, a Eucharist Minister to those in need for 20 years and also sang in the church choir, she lived her faith by being an amazing wife, mother, sibling, and friend to so many, and we all loved her back.  She is in heaven for sure and will always be missed, but never forgotten. 

Family and Friends receiving hours will be held at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home 302 S. Main Ave Sidney, Ohio on Friday, March 1, 2024 from 9:00-10:15 AM., followed by a 10:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Angels Catholic Church immediately following receiving hours. Burial will be held following Mass at Graceland Cemetery in Sidney. Condolences may be expressed to the Finfrock family at our website, www.cromesfh.com

In lieu of flowers, she cherished her Holy Angels Catholic Church and the Shelby County Animal Rescue and Shelter for her love of animals which memorial contributions may be made out in Chris memory.
