Cindy Lou Carey

CINDY LOU CAREY, 68, of Sidney, passed away at 11:15 P.M. Friday, January 5, 2024 at her residence. She was born on July 28, 1955 in Troy, Ohio, the daughter of the late Irvin and Woneta (North) Weaver.

On December 28, 1981 she married Archie Carey, who survives along with four daughters, Bridget Hittle of Sidney, Terry (Jeff) Paschall, Tonya (Robert) Blaase, and Tressa Krause, all three of Texas; ten grandchildren, Tory, Lewis, Breanna, Hunter, Autumn, Leno, Raine, Maci, Allie, and Donovan; five great-grandchildren and one on the way; and four siblings, Lonnie Reed, Candy Wion, Martha Weldy, and Tonya Schirtzinger. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Crystal Hittle.

Cindy retired from Ross Aluminum where she had worked for many years. Prior to that, she worked as a caregiver at Fair Haven County Home. Cindy was a caring and loving soul who would do anything she could to help someone in need. She was an animal lover and enjoyed going to thrift stores and garage sales. Cindy’s family was everything to her. Any reason was a good reason to have a family get-together and she especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. She is greatly loved and will be dearly missed.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, January 12, 2024 at 1 P.M. at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home.

Burial will follow at Shelby Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 11 A.M. until the time of service. Condolences may be expressed to the Carey family at, www.cromesfh.com
