Christie Sue Mandal

Christie Sue Mandal passed away on March 2, 2025, at the age of 65. She was born on July 5, 1959, in Dayton, Ohio to Norman and Carolyn (Barnes) Lee. Christie is survived by her husband Navin Mandal, her sisters, Connie Proehl (George), Cathy Piper (Ty), Cindy Walters (Bill), Cherie Kukhahn, and her beloved, great niece, Emmalee.

Christie, a devoted wife and cherished soul, passed away leaving behind a legacy of love and grace. She spent many years working at Honda and found joy in life’s simple pleasures, taking long walks to admire nature, planting vibrant flower gardens, and preserving harvests from her vegetable plots. A passionate cook, she delighted in exploring new recipes from food channels.  

Christie’s heart overflowed with faith; she loved the Lord deeply and sang His praises with joy. Her belief in natural remedies inspired her to share her wisdom with those in need. She took pride in her husband’s achievements and treasured their life together. Traveling broadened her horizons, as she often said it “opened up her world!”  

Her strength, warmth, and kindness touched countless lives. Christie will be deeply missed, but the memories we hold dear will forever keep her spirit alive.
