Charles Eugene "Gene" "Spider" Webb

CHARLES EUGENE “GENE” “SPIDER” WEBB, 84, formerly of Sidney passed away Thursday, November 21, 2024 at 5:22 PM at Troy Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. He was born on September 2, 1940 in Quincy, Ohio, the son of the late Harold and Marjorie (Davis) Webb. On January 2, 1965, Gene married the former Judith Linn Bell, who survives.

He is survived by two children, David (Cheryl Ross-Clark) Webb of Marion and Addison (Gail) Webb of Dayton; four grandchildren, Heather (Jordan) Utterback, Shannon Webb, Forest (Nikistea) Webb and Scarlett (Tommy) Pouncey; five great-grandchildren; two siblings, Jerry (Rachel) Webb of Tipp City and Steve (Laura) Webb of Bellefontaine and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Webb retired working as an Electrical Technician and welder. He proudly served in the United States Navy. Charles was a member of Connection Point Church of God. He was a member of the Great Miami Long Rifles.

A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday December 10, 2024 at 11:30 AM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home 302 S. Main Ave Sidney with Pastor Mark Kaufman officiating. Burial will follow with full military honors presented by the United States Navy and the Sidney Veterans Honor Guard at Plattsville Cemetery in Plattsville, Ohio. Friends may visit from 10:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Connection Point Church of God in Charles memory.
