Charles Edward Long

Charles Edward Long, age 88, of Anna passed away peacefully on
Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at 2:36 PM at Fair Haven Shelby County
Home.  He was born the son of Cecil and Irma (Wittenbrink) Long in rural
Shelby County, Ohio.

Charlie is survived by his loving family, sister Emogene (Karl)
Reinhardt, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his wife Vandora in 2012, his parents and a
sister Ruby Long.

Charlie served his country proudly with the United States Army as a tank
driver.  He worked many years at Baumfolder and on the farm.  Charlie was a loving brother, uncle and cousin.  He will be missed.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 12, 2021, 1:00PM to 3:00PM
with services to follow at 3:00PM with Pastor Jim Oates officiating at
Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home, 302 S. Main St. Sidney, Ohio.  Interment
will be on Monday, September 13, 2021, at 9:30AM at Pearl Cemetery,
Swanders, Ohio.

Memorial contributions can be made in Charlie’s memory to St. Paul's
Church of Christ.
