Carter Isaac New

CARTER ISAAC NEW, 18, of Sidney passed away at 11:26 A.M. Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born on March 6, 2005 in Sidney, Ohio, the son of Adam (Jela) Kelly and Jodi New, both of Sidney.

Carter is survived by stepfather, Derrick (Bethany) Metz; grandparents, Carlos M. (Nancy) New, and Theresa Weiler, and great-grandmother, Lillian New, all of Sidney; three siblings, Kaiden Kelly, Hunter Metz, and Lylah Kelly; two uncles, Kurtis (Jessika Zontini) New, and Mitch (Dawn) Kelly; and one aunt, Michaela Kelly. He was preceded in death by grandfather, Michael Kelly; great-grandmother, Martha Watercutter; and great-grandfather, Carlos New.

Carter was a recent graduate of Sidney High School, class of 2023. He worked as an assistant manager at the Take 5 Car Wash in Sidney. Carter was a kind soul that loved going out of his way to make others happy. He enjoyed working out and gaming. A true gentleman and a loving son, brother and friend, his last words to you on your way out were always, “Love you, be safe.” He will be loved and missed greatly by his family and his friends.

A Celebration of Life Gathering for Carter will take place on Thursday, August 31, 2023 from 10 A.M. until 1 P.M. at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home. Carter’s final resting place will be at Cedar Point Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed to the family at, www.cromesfh.com
