Carolyn L. Stone

Carolyn L. Stone age 81 of Houston passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at 12:46 PM at her home. She was born on July 6, 1943, in Sidney, the daughter of Ralph and Lucile (Myers) Swob.

Carolyn is survived by her loving family, children Kim (Greg Kelly) Centers and Daniel (Sheri) Stone, grandchildren Seth Centers, Josh (Kandy) Centers, Sierra Miller, Mitch Stone and Payton Stone, several great grandchildren, a sister Pat (Rich) McMaken, sister-in-law Jean Swob and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles (Chuck) Stone in 2003, two brothers Bob Swob and Bill Swob, a sister Jeannette Winemiller and a great granddaughter.

Carolyn loved her family. She married the love of her life at 16 Chuck Stone. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother. She was a surrogate grandmother of the children of the church and any children that came into her life. She will be missed by all who love her.

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at 12:00 PM (Noon) at New Hope United Methodist Church, 8985 W. Mason Rd. Sidney, OH 45365 with Pastor Rob Berryman officiating. Burial to follow at Shelby Memory Gardens. Friends may visit from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
