Carol Phelps

Carol Phelps, age 73, of Sidney, passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born on January 21, 1950, the daughter of Arthur and Maudie (Davis) Morgan in Oneida, TN.

Carol is survived by her loving family, husband who she married on December 22, 1967, Joe Phelps, sons, Nick (Brandi) Phelps and Kenny Phelps, grandchildren, Aaron Phelps, Codi Smith, Alex Phelps, and Archer Phelps, several great grandchildren, siblings, Freda Phelps, Joanie (Greg Zirkle) Chester, Luella (Kenny) Carr, Martha (John) Strunk, and Loretta (Dave) Cook, and many nieces and nephews.

She preceded in death by her parents, brother, Jimmy Morgan and a sister, Nora Morgan.

Carol was a graduate of Sidney High School. She retired from Sidney Truck as a dispatcher, and she loved to cook. Most of all Carol loved her family. She was a devoted wife and mother. She will be missed by all who love her.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, October 23, 2023, at 12:00 PM (Noon) at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home with Pastor Tommy Jones officiating. Burial to follow at Cedar Point Cemetery.
