Carol May Covault

Carol May Covault, a resident of Fair Haven Shelby County Home, passed away at the home on November 10, 2024. She was born November 5, 1950. Her parents were Harold and Pauline (Crocker) Covault, who preceded her in death. She lived in Maplewood, Ohio most of her life, and moved to Sidney in January 2009.

She worked at S & H Products for over 40 years. She always was happy to be at S & H, and even missed being there when they had days off. She moved to Fair Haven Shelby County Home in 2022.

Her sister and brothers and sister-in-law are Shirley Umstead of Anna, OH, Robert and Marilyn Covault of Summerford, OH, Ernest and Elaine Covault of New Port Rickey, FL and Joseph and Martha Covault of Sidney, OH.  One brother, Ronald Covault and one brother-in-law, Carlton Umstead have preceded her in death.

She loved her family deeply and loved birthday and holiday celebrations with all her siblings.  She always loved having her Micky and Minnie Mouse Dolls nearby. She was a member of the Maplewood United Methodist Church and attended the Anna United Methodist with her sister for several Years as health permitted.

The Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday November 15, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Anna United Methodist Church with Pastor R.J. Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Glen Cemetery in Port Jefferson, Ohio. Friends may visit from 11:00 AM until time of service at the church. Arrangements are in the care of Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home 302 S.
