Carol Ann Cavinder

Carol Ann Cavinder, age 90, passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at 6:29 PM at Wilson Health. She was born February 24, 1934, in Port Jefferson, OH, the daughter of the late Raymond and Iva (Parke) Beers Bell.

She is survived and blessed to have two great sons, Gregory and Jeffrey both of Sidney, three special grandsons, Jason and wife Jennifer, Brian and wife Jill and Wes Cavinder, three special great grandsons, Conner, Evan and Brady Cavinder, and two sweet granddaughters, Hailey and Kylee Cavinder. Also, a special person in my life, Joyce Martin, who was always there for me and me for her.

She is preceded in death by sisters, Norman Cotterman and Barbara Cole and brothers, Bob Beers, Don Beers and Jerry Beers.

Carol was a 1952 graduate of Sidney High School. She babysat for many years and had great kids to care for. She also worked at Bob Evans, CJ Highmarks and Hollaway Sports Wear where she retired in 2011. She enjoyed doing puzzles, crossword puzzles and crocheting. She loved to bake and enjoyed baking for her friends and neighbors. She especially loved the times she got to go to her great grandson’s sporting events and spending time with her sons and grandsons and their wives, and her great grandsons. She loved them all. She was a member of the Anna United Methodist Church where she had a loving Christian family.
