Carlos A. Lopez Diaz

CARLOS A. LOPEZ DIAZ, age 48 of Sidney, passed away on Monday, March 22, 2021while on vacation in Puerto Rico. He was born on July 24, 1972 in Cayey, Puerto Rico the son of Carlos (Lydia) Lopez Sr. of Massachusetts, and Iris (Juan) Diaz of Cayey, Puerto Rico.

On November 26, 2018 Carlos married Virgen M. (Casiano) who survives along with four children, Shelia (Yadiel Velazquez) Lopez of Cayey, Puerto Rico, Carlos (Genesis) Lopez of Tampa, FL, Jessica (Kevin Colon) Lopez of Orlando, FL, and Elizabeth "Eli" Hunt of Sidney, seven grandchildren, Jexriel, Xiomalee, Yedriel, Keniel, Jadiel, Nayeliz, and Rayan, four siblings, Jose' (Sara) Matos, Evelyn Diaz, Maribel Roman Diaz, and Lucy Diaz, stepbrothers and sisters, Henry, Janisa, Virgen, and Tito, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Carlos worked for Freshway Foods in Sidney, and attended Northtowne Church of God. He loved watching WWE, Smackdown Wrestling and boxing. He enjoyed cookouts with his buddies, especially the eating, and working outdoors, where he was meticulous about his yardwork. Most of all, he loved his family and talking to his grandkids through facetime.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 1 PM at Northtowne Church of God, 2008 Wapakoneta Ave. Sidney, with Pastor Tim Bartee officiating.
