Calvin Vestal Obituary

CALVIN WADE VESTAL, age 61 of Sidney, passed away Sunday, January 2, 2022 at 3:15 PM at his home. He was born on May 30, 1960, in Petersburg, Virginia, the son of the late Kenneth and Helena (Ziegler) Vestal.

On February 18, 2006 he married Amanda Michelle (Puckett) who survives along with two children, Maranda Michelle Kimberly Lynn Vestal, and Brandon Vestal, brother, Kenny Vestal of Sidney, sister, Deborah Casey of Union City, IN, and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by brother, Danny Vestal.

Mr. Vestal served his country in the US Army Co. C 1st Bn 12th Cav 1st CavDiv Fort Hood, TX. He worked as a truck driver prior to his retirement in 2010 due to health issues. He was of the Christian Faith being baptized on September 8, 2019 at the Quincy Apostolic Temple.

Calvin's cremation was entrusted to Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home. A Service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Condolences may be expressed to the Vestal family at www.cromesfh.com
