CB Jones Jr.

CB JONES JR., 61 of Anna, passed away Monday, August 11, 2025 at 6:56 AM at his home. He was born on September 7, 1963, in Dayton, Ohio, the son of the late CB and Jessie (Perry) Jones.

On September 24, 1983, CB married Sandra (Thobe) who survives along with their three children: Kristin (Nicholas) Johnson, Curtis (Shelly) Jones, both of Anna, and Cassie (Samuel) Houston of Piqua, eight grandchildren: Ruby-Jean, Alli, Scarlett, Corbin, Madison, Raelyn, Kennedy, and Kinsley, and one sister, Gerri Wilkerson of Tennessee. He was preceded in death by four siblings: Sonny Simpson, Mallie Hicks, Daryl Simpson, and Ruth Simpson.

CB worked as Vice President of Manufacturing for Aunt Millie’s Bakery. He was always the life of the party, and loved golfing, dancing, bluegrass music, and neighborhood gatherings at his buddy, Ken’s patio. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, August 14, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home with Randy Reed officiating. Burial will follow at Pearl Cemetery in Swanders. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
