Bruce Ludwig Obituary

BRUCE SEVERIN LUDWIG, 85 of Sidney, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at 7:48 AM at Wilson Health. He was born on June 7, 1940, in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, the son of the late Reuben and Ruth (Esser) Ludwig. On May 26, 1973, he married Joanne (Geiger) who preceded him in death June 27, 2018.

Bruce is survived by his son, Joshua (Melinda) Ludwig of Sidney.

Prior to his retirement, Bruce taught for many years at Holy Angels School. He was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church since 1990, a member of Sidney Elks, Sidney Senior Center, and the Sidney Knights of Columbus.

In keeping with Bruce’s wishes, no services are to be held. His final resting place will be in Wisconsin next to his wife, Joanne. Arrangements are in the care of Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home.
