Bruce Allen Henderson

Bruce Allen Henderson age 81 of Sidney passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 10:44 PM at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born on December 18, 1943 in Lima, the son of Robert and Marguerite (Faulder) Henderson.

Bruce is survived by his loving family, daughters Lisa (Ron) Brown of Troy and Amy (Todd) Crow of Wapakoneta, grandchildren Katie (Kevin) Thayer, Christi (David) Herman, Allison (Brad) Bishop, and Bobby (Morgan) Crow, great grandchildren Sam and Luke Thayer, Dash, Dax, and Kit Herman, Carly and Cameron Mohr, and Bennett Bishop, brothers Bob (Marsha) Henderson, Rick (Chris) Henderson, brother-in-law Jim (Susie) Bruns, and his girlfriend Brenda Hall and her son Ryan Hall.

Bruce was preceded in death by his wife Rosie (Bruns) Henderson who he married on October 31, 1964, sister Susan Henderson, brothers-in-law Joe Bruns and Tom Bruns, sister-in-law Carol Bruns, his parents and in-laws.

Bruce was a graduate of Wapakoneta Senior High School. He was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church. He worked at Amos Press for 42 years and recently volunteered at Wilson Hospital. Bruce’s passion was watching motor sports. If it was on the television, he was watching and enjoying it. Bruce was a loving father, grandfather and brother. Bruce always put others needs ahead of his own. He will be missed by all who loved him.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at 10:30 AM at Holy Angels Catholic Church with Fr. John Tonkin, Celebrant. Burial to follow at Glen Cemetery, Port Jefferson. Visitation will be on Saturday at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home 9:15 to 10:15 AM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home.
