Brittany Ann Esser

Brittany Ann (Teegarden) Esser, Botkins Oh, went home to be with Jesus on Saturday Aug. 24th at Wilson Memorial Hospital.

Brittany was born on April 15, 1992, in Sidney, OH to Ricky Teegarden and the late Brenda (Blevins) Teegarden. 

Her grandparents were the late Paul and Mary Teegarden and the late Oakley and Opal Blevins.

Brittany is survived by her husband, Kevin Esser, her father and stepmother Ricky and Elaine Teegarden, brother Paul Teegarden, sister Amber (Ryan) Hooker, father and mother in laws Bryan and Terri Esser, sister in laws Kristi (Joshua) Huston and Kassidy Esser.

Brittany was a proud Aunt to nieces Madyson Hooker and Paysley Teegarden, as well as her nephews Kaiden Teegarden, Grayson Hooker and Tucker Huston. Brittany is survived by a special family friend, Kim Hooker.

Brittany was a proud 2010 graduate of Sidney High School where she was active in the choir and musical departments.

On August 20, 2022, Brittany married her love, Kevin Esser. They enjoyed their family, friends, Columbus Crew games, as well as being Cincinnati Reds fans. They also loved their 2 fur babies, Boston and Charlie.

Brittany worked several years at Wilson Health as a patient care technician/Health Unit Coordinator. She was currently employed at the Tri-County Veterinary Services as their front desk receptionist.

Britt was a friend. She took the time, sent the encouraging text, made the call. If she knew you-she was there for you. 

Britt was a worshipper. She sang and played the piano at every church she attended. Most recently, Britt loved being the worship leader and pianist at her church, Meaningful Life in Sidney. Her passion to lift Jesus name up in praise truly shined here. Her voice was anointed. You felt it. Britt could always be counted on to help with youth choirs, musicals, vacation bible schools and holiday productions. She especially had a heart to work with children.

Britt was an overcomer. The past few years brought many health challenges. Her faith in Jesus was strong and it carried her through them all. She always believed for her total healing, and now she has it in Heaven.

Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home 302 S. Main St. Sidney Oh are handling the arrangements. Friends and family may call this Wednesday, August 28th from 4 to 8 pm at the funeral home.

A Celebration of Brittany’s life will be held Thursday, August 29th at 11am at the Crossroads Church 9330 Looney Road, Piqua Oh. Pastors Joe Clemons and Jeff Hill will be officiating. Burial will be in the Cedar Point Cemetery, Pasco, Oh. A celebration dinner will follow at Lighthouse Ministries 1690 Michigan St.
