Brenda K. (Douglas) Allen

BRENDA K. (DOUGLAS) ALLEN, 77, of Sidney passed away Saturday, August 17, 2024 at 7:30 AM at her residence. She was born on December 16, 1946 in Kenton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Dennis and Ova (Lee) Douglas. On August 21, 1965, Brenda married Marion N. Allen Sr., who preceded her in death February 5, 2015.

She is survived by two children, Marion Allen Jr. and Charles (Jaime) Allen both of Sidney; four grandchildren, Levi, Mason, Grant and Reese and one great-grandchild, Nadine. Brenda was preceded in death by son, Richard Allen and five siblings, Frederick Douglas, Dennis Douglas, Nadine Douglas, Ronald Joseph Douglas and Phoebe Ann Cotterman.

Mrs. Allen retired after 20 years working for Northwood School as a Noon Supervisor. Brenda enjoyed crocheting, going to the casinos and spending time with her family. She was a kind and caring person who thought more of others than herself. Brenda will be spending her anniversary with her husband, Marion.

Funeral Services will be held Friday August 23, 2024 at 1 PM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home 302 S. Main Ave Sidney. Burial will follow at Glen Cemetery in Port Jefferson, Ohio. Friends may visit from 11 AM until the time of service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society in Brenda’s memory.
