Billie Lee (Emberling) Howell

BILLIE LEE HOWELL, 89 of Sidney, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2026, at 6:09 PM at Landings of Sidney. She was born on September 14, 1936, in Kenton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Alonzo and Barbara (McKinney) Emberling. On January 30, 1954, she married Merle Eugene Howell who preceded her in death September 26, 2007.

Billie is survived by two daughters: Cleonda (Tim) DeWeese of Sidney, OH, and Krista (Don) Brown of Enterprise, MS, five grandchildren: Jason (Molly), Dustin (Carrie), Ryan, and Joshua (Jeanette) DeWeese, and Leah Brown, and 12 great-grandchildren: Emma, Lillian, Jonah, Isaiah, Chase, Annabelle, Coraline, Russell, Teri, Lucas, Nathan, and Hailey DeWeese. She was preceded in death by sister, Judy Strong.

Billie was a production worker for Copeland Corporation in Sidney retiring on January 4, 1999, after 32 ½ years of service. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Sidney.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home with Pastor Vincent Waters officiating. Burial will follow at Pearl Cemetery in Swanders. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
