Beverly Jean Shroyer

Beverly Jean Shroyer (Wrigley) was born April 25, 1936 in Anna, Ohio to Charles and Rowena Wrigley. She passed away peacefully at home on October 18, 2023, in Hartville, MO.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 46 years, Richard Wayne Shroyer. She is survived by her sister Carol Bulle  (Wrigley) and brother-in-law Bruce Bulle of Anna, Ohio, as well as her daughters Misty Sue Shroyer (and Larry Peacock), and Dawn Renee' Ely (and husband Mike Ely), all of Sidney, Ohio; her son Lynn Scott Shroyer (and wife Sissy Shroyer) of Hartville, Missouri; 4 grandchildren Kortney Stumpp, Morgan Ely, Ryan Ely, and Brian Shroyer; and 5 great-grandchildren Ville, Dahlia, Oliver, Charlotte and Gwill. She is also survived by many close friends and spiritual brothers and sisters.

Beverly lived a very full and joyful life. She met Richard while attending Anna High School, where she graduated in 1954. Years later, after he returned home from being in the army, they reunited and were married in 1959 in Anna, Ohio. Beverly owned her own beauty salon while her husband farmed, and they enjoyed raising their three children together. Beverly loved sewing and baking. She especially loved baking cookies for the kids’ school functions, and crafting homemade gifts to share with her family and friends.

Beverly learned about Jehovah God and began to study the Bible in 2015, and her ministry became very important to her. She was happy to be baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 2017. Beverly loved teaching others about Bible truths and Jehovah's Kingdom. She had firm faith in God’s promise of a resurrection and a time when “No resident will say, ‘I am sick.’” (Isaiah 33:24). We look forward to seeing her smile again in perfect health when that promise is fulfilled.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, October 26, 2023 at 11 A.M. at Cromes - Edwards Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Glen Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 10 A.M. until the time of service. Condolences may be expressed to the Shroyer family at, www.cromesfh.com
