Beverly Ann Barger, age 87 of Sidney, passed away Monday, July 1, 2024, at 5:55 PM at Fair Haven Shelby County Home. She was born in Peru, Indiana, on February 25, 1937, to Mary Ellen Holland. After the death of her mother in 1944 Beverly was adopted and raised by her maternal grandparents, Edward and Ella Holland. In 1955 she married Larry W. Goble who passed away in 1974.
In 1961, she and Larry opened the BK Rootbeer Stand which she continued to run until 1989. In
later years she was employed by Amos Memorial Library.
In 1975, Beverly married John R. Barger who preceded her in death in 2019. She is survived by three children, Carole (Stan) Crosley, Bruce Goble, and Brent Goble all of Sidney, and one stepchild, Molly (Dean) Smith of St. Paris. One stepchild, Ty Meeker preceded her in death. Beverly was grandmother to six grandchildren, five step grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home with Kristi Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Point Cemetery in Pasco. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4 to 7 PM.
