Betty Lou Williamson

BETTY LOU WILLIAMSON, 80, of Sidney, passed away at 11:21 A.M. Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Wilson Health. She was born on March 15, 1940 in Ritmer, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Sherman and Edna (Lewis) Roberts. In 1957 she married Drew Williamson, who preceded her in death in 2002.

Betty is survived by two children, Rodney Williamson and Susan Burchett; and two grandsons, Benjamin and Andrew Burchett. She was preceded in death by grandson, Douglas Burchett; and brother, Darrell Roberts.

Betty was a homemaker and a retired nurses aide. She had worked for Dorothy Love and Fair Haven throughout her career. Betty was a self-taught artist and belonged to the Sidney Art League. She loved to fish, play piano, read and paint.

Funeral Services for Betty will be held Friday, February 12, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home with Pastor Earnie Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery.
