Betty J. Vetters

BETTY J. VETTERS, 71, passed away Monday, June 14, 2021, at 4:16 AM at Piqua Manor.

She was born on June 11, 1950, in Co-Operative, Kentucky, the daughter of Thomas and Emma (Worley) Freeman.

Betty is survived by her loving family, children Becky (Eddie) Reed of Sidney, Bob Snell of Sidney, and Dennis Vetters of Columbus, siblings, Dennis (Viola) Freeman of Frankfort, KY, Norma Freeman of Piqua, Judy (Jack) Wise of Sidney, and Teresa Brewer of Greenville and a host of many other family and friends.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents, stepdaughter Kay Vetters-Arnett and her husband William Vetters, sister Oma Jones and her husband James, and brother Norman Freeman.

Betty enjoyed many things including bird watching, reading and doing crosswords.  She was a member of the Senior Citizen Center in Piqua, served as a CVS Pharmacy Technician, and was a member of the Christian Faith Baptist Church, Sidney.  Most of all Betty was a dedicated wife and mother.  She loved her family with all her faith and heart.  She will be missed by all who love her.

Memorial services will be held Monday at 11:00 AM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home & Crematory Inc with Pastor Lee Ellis officiating. Inurnment will follow at Miami Memorial Park, Covington, Ohio.
