Betty Rainey Obituary

BETTY A. RAINEY, of Sidney passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at 9:16 PM at OSU Wexner Medical Center in Columbus. She was born on October 1, 1949 in Mason County, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Harry and Sadie (Shepard) Rainey.

She is survived by two sons, Bradley (Beth) Parsons of Sidney and Jimmy (Emie) Parsons of Virginia; nine grandchildren, Justice, Brendee, Nikki, Cameron, Nico, Jeremiah, Hannah, Ben and Johnny; two great-grandchildren, River and Winter and three siblings, Roger Rainey of West Virginia, Kay Cole of West Virginia and Mary Norvelle of Virginia.

Betty worked for over 8 years as a HBC Manager for Farm Fresh. She loved to cook, craft and sew. Betty especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

In honoring Betty's wishes, her body will be cremated. The family will hold a service at their discretion at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home 302 S. Main Ave Sidney. Condolences may be expressed to the Rainey family at our website, www.cromesfh.com
