Betty Lou (Perry) Nichols

BETTY LOU NICHOLS, 71 of Sidney, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at 3:22 PM at Shelby Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born on August 8, 1953, in Jellico, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Leonard and Imogene (Foster) Perry. On April 7, 1984, she married Michael D. Nichols who preceded her in death in 1986.

Betty is survived by two sons: Shannon (Jamie) Perry, and Robby (Tisha) Perry both of Sidney, daughter, Anna Wellbaum of Sidney, her sister, Ilene (Ralph) Rose of Butler, KY, and brother, Allen Perry of Sidney, six grandchildren: Allie, Estin, Zavier, Chelsea, Stephanie, and Allison, and six great-grandchildren: Breighlen, Liberty, Ellah, Chevy, Koleson, and Layne. She was preceded in death by her brother, Johnny Perry.

Betty was a member of First United Baptist Church in Lockington. She was a graduate of Sidney High School class of 1971. She was a homemaker who enjoyed baking and cooking. She loved all the friendships she made over the years, and especially loved her kids, grandkids, and her church.

Funeral Services for Betty will be held Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home with Pastor Tommy Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery in Sidney. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
