Betty Jean (Smith) Frazier

BETTY JEAN FRAZIER, age 84 of Sidney, passed away Sunday, June 27, 2021 at 8:43 PM at her home. She was born on April 27, 1937 in Shawnee, Oklahoma, the daughter of the late James and Cora Lee (Deaton) Smith. On October 3, 1953 she married Jack L. Frazier who preceded her in death June 8, 2009.

Betty is survived by three daughters, Brenda Sylvester of Sidney, OH, Madeline (Paul) Holmes, and Donna (Dave) Keen both of Columbus, OH, one sister, Barbara Campbell of Medina, OH, six grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Frazier, a grandson, Jamie Spradlin, a granddaughter, Sonya Spradlin, eight siblings, Bobby Couch, Nancy Smith, Viola Mosley, James Baston Smith, Lloyd David Smith, David Smith, Murray Smith, and Billy Smith, and a son-in-law, Michael Sylvester.

Mrs. Frazier retired from Copeland Corporation in Sidney. She was a 17-year member of Sidney Baptist Church, where she was very active. She loved to travel, loved her church, but most of all, she loved her family.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, July 1, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Sidney Baptist Church, 1322 E. Court St., with Pastor John Butts officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Point Cemetery in Pasco. The family will receive friends, at the church, on Thursday, from 11 AM until the time of service. Arrangements are in the care of Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home.
