Beth Alane (Bridges) Harp

Beth Alane (Bridges) Harp, 52, of Sidney, passed at 10:17 AM Sunday, June 21, 2026, at St. Rita’s Medical Center. She was born on August 11, 1973 to Charles and Linda (Moon) Bridges.

On June 24, 2017, Beth Married Jeff Harp who survives her along with her mother, Linda Bridges of Sidney. She is also survived by her brothers Brad Bridges of Troy, and Derek (Arlyna) Bridges of Grove City; and two Nephews Alex and Andrew Bridges. She was preceded in death by her father Charles E. Bridges.

Beth loved education and had a passion for teaching. She graduated from Sidney High School in 1991, earned her bachelor's degree from Ohio Northern University in 1995, and then received her master's degree from the University of Dayton. She later earned her Ph.D. in Education.

Beth was a devoted fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes. She enjoyed making jewelry, working on crafts, and expressing her creativity through various projects. She also loved her flower gardens that she and her husband, Jeff, built and cared for together.
