Beth Cable

BETH CABLE, 73, of Sidney, passed away at 10:52 A.M. Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at Kettering Grandview in Dayton. She was born on January 20, 1952 in Sidney, Ohio, the daughter of the late Howard and Gladys (Moore) Fugate. On April 4, 1998 she married Charles Cable, who preceded her in death on November 16, 2014.

Beth is survived by two children, Amy (Kent) Watkins of Sidney, and David (Charity) Edwards of Urbana; five grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; four great-grandsons; one brother, Loren Watkins of Sidney; one sister, Eva (Orville) Huffman of Sidney; and her beloved K-9 companions, Lucy and Roxi. She was preceded in death by one brother, Howard; and five sisters, Bertha, Mary Lou, Joan, Darlene, and Charlotte.

Beth dedicated over 30 years of her career as an inkjet operator at Conveo before retiring in 2014. She was a longtime member of Pasco United Methodist Church, where she found both community and spiritual fulfillment. Beth was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Sidney American Legion and Amvets.

A passionate Cleveland Browns fan, Beth found joy in cheering for her team as a proud member of the Browns Backers fan club. Above all, she cherished the companionship of her two beloved dogs, who brought her endless comfort and joy.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025 at 1 P.M. at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home with Randy Reed officiating. Visitation will be from 11 A.M. until the time of service.
