Audry "Gayle" (Stringfield) McCoy-Francis

AUDRY "GAYLE" (STRINGFIELD) MCCOY-FRANCIS, age 74 of Sidney, passed away Monday, June 10, 2024, at 10:42 PM at her home. She was born on September 30, 1949, in Aiken, South Carolina, the daughter of the late Dorothy (Victory) Stringfield-Mertz and Carol Stringfield. 

She is survived by two children: Tammy McCoy of Clermont, FL, and Shane McCoy of Sidney, significant other of 19 years, Michael H. Ewing of Sidney, five grandchildren: Bailey and Cheyenne Bills-McCoy of FL, Kady Bills-McCoy of Long Island, Bradlee Bills-McCoy of PA, and Kiaha Bills-McCoy of IN, and three siblings: Shirley Brosseau of UT, Charlie Stringfield of FL, and Mark Stringfield of OH.  

Gayle spent her youth working at the Alcove in Sidney. Married and raised her children, then turned to baking and crafting with ceramic painting becoming her specialty. Gayle found the most joy from giving away her creations. 

The family will hold a Celebration of Life for Gayle on Saturday, June 15, 2024, from 12 to 3 PM at the Meyers Pavilion in Tawawa Park in Sidney, OH. Cremation Services have been entrusted to Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home.
