Arbadella L. (Kidd) Richards

ARBADELLA L. RICHARDS, age 86 of Sidney, passed away Friday, December 22, 2023, at 3:50 AM at Shelby Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born on February 6, 1937, in Charleston, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Estill and Helen (Rayhill) Kidd. On October 23, 1954, she married James A. Richards who preceded her in death October 6, 2017.

She is survived by three daughters: Rebecca Daniels, Debra (Scott) Thomas both of Sidney, and Della (Steven) Duckett of Piqua, one brother, Charles Kidd of West Virginia, eight grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, James Jr., and John Richards, five siblings: John, Gary, and David Kidd, Kathy Plott, and Sue Champlin, one grandson, Scott Thomas II, and son-in-law, Gary Daniels.

Mrs. Richards was a homemaker who loved Word Search puzzles and watching the Cooking Network.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, December 28, 2023 at 12:00 PM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery in Sidney. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
