Anthony Wayne Garza

Anthony Wayne Garza, 77, of Sidney, passed away at 8:25 p.m. on October 7, 2025, at Momentous Health in Sidney. He was born on February 4, 1948, the son of the late Anthony Garza and Joan Byler.

Anthony was the oldest of thirteen children. He worked for more than 30 years as a security guard at Ohio Living Dorothy Love and, prior to that, as a machinist at Baumfolder.

A devoted NASCAR enthusiast, Anthony also enjoyed building S-gauge model trains and model cars, especially Pontiacs. He was a proud member of the Dayton Model Car Club and the Miami Valley S-Guager’s Model Train Club in Dayton.

Anthony had a special love for animals, particularly his cats, and was known for caring for the neighborhood strays in his community.
