Anita J. (Neely) Crase

ANITA J. CRASE, 81 of Casstown, OH formerly of Sidney, passed away Sunday, February 1, 2026, at 5:11 AM at her daughter’s home. She was born on January 4, 1945, in Sayre, Oklahoma, the daughter of the late Hillard Jackson and Marie (McGuire) Neely. On September 2, 1982, she married Lawson Lavon Crase who preceded her in death January 5, 2016.

Anita is survived by three children: Aaron Lewis (Deb) Mounce of San Antonio, TX, Donna Carol (Dennis) Hawkins of Casstown, OH, and Lesley Crase (daughter of Lawson Crase) of Piedmont, OK, three siblings: Cullen Neely of Perryton, Texas, Nick Neely of Asher, OK, and Thomas James Neely of Foley, AL, and four grandchildren: Montana Taylor Boggs, Samantha Erin Nickole Hawkins, Emmitt Allan Everett, and Lawson James Owen Boggs. She was preceded in death by three siblings: Lynn Jo, Barney Ray, and Priscilla.

Anita will be lovingly remembered as an amazing mother, Mama, and GG. She spent her time caring tremendously for her family. An extraordinary crafter, baker, and cook, she also found great joy in God’s creation and treasured time spent with her beloved furry friends. Above all, Anita will be forever and always be remembered for her unwavering love for her family and having a heart as big as the world.
