Angela S. (Willoughby) Phillips

ANGELA S. PHILLIPS, 52 of Sidney, passed away Sunday morning, June 15, 2025 at her home. She was born on May 26, 1973, in Troy, Ohio, the daughter of Betty Allen of Sidney and the late Bruce T. Willoughby.

She is survived by two children: Ariel E. Clark of Missouri, and Mark A. White Jr. of Sidney, four grandchildren: Anna Grace, Aliviah, Braxton, and Amiyah, one brother, Jeremy (Betsy) Willoughby of Troy, OH, two sisters: Amber (Fred) Herron of Fordland, MO, and Audra (Tony) Horne of Huber Heights, OH, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Angela was a devoted caregiver who spent her life helping others through personal home health care. She was known for her bright smile, big personality, and a heart that never hesitated to give. She found joy in painting, cooking crab legs, and listening to country music — but her greatest love was for her children and grandchildren, who knew her simply as “Nanna.”

Funeral Services will be held Friday, June 20, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home with Randy Reed officiating. Burial will follow at Glen Cemetery in Port Jefferson. The family will receive friends on Friday from 11:00 AM until the time of service. Following the interment, the family will be holding a Celebration of Life at the IUE Hall from 4 to 6 PM.
