Alyce Marie Boorman

Alyce Marie Wood Boorman went to be with her Lord and savior on May 5, 2024, aged 82. She was born on May 18, 1941 in Taft, CA. Alyce is preceded by her parents Ralph and Genevieve Wood; her younger brother, Kenneth Wood; granddaughter, Cynthia Hadler; great-grandson, Riley Copeland; and many other treasured family members.

Alyce's memory will be carried on by her sister, Karen (Sid) DeBoer; her husband, Paul Boorman; and their 5 daughters, Susan Boorman of Niwot, CO, Debra (Kevin) Horne of Jonesboro, AR, Patricia (Thomas) Hadler of NJ, Rebecca (John) Sammons of Sidney, OH, Pamela Boorman of NJ, and her honorary son, Casey (Cassandra) Dunn of Clinton, AR; 13 grandchildren, Shannan (Shon Kemp) Copeland, Dixie Rodeheffer, Jamie (Amanda Fowler) Sammons, Sarah (Michael Kessler) Cogswell, David (Ashley Adams) Roberson, Andrew Cotterman, Kaila (Aaron Felver) Cotterman, Justin Hadler, Chris Hadler, Nicole (Codie) LaCount, Amadou Samb, Zachary Dunn, and Jeremy Dunn; 10 great-grandchildren, Kayla (Zac) Cook, Lilly Copeland, Gage Copeland, Taylor Birkemeier, Maddy Copeland, Hunter Sammons, Lucy Kessler, Logan Kessler, Logan Fowler, Freddy Sammons, and soon to be, Walker; and 2 great-great-grandchildren; along with loving aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Alyce is remembered for her love of family history and traditions, her passion for Christ, her generosity, including volunteering as much as possible, taking trips, animals… especially dogs, humor and witty remarks, strength, and dedication to family. She will be greatly missed, but we are comforted by Jesus and the fact that she is free and dancing in the streets of gold!
