Alvin Quinton Robbs

ALVIN QUINTON ROBBS, 89, of Sidney passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at 12:06 AM at his residence. He was born on October 18, 1934 in Walker County, Georgia, the son of the late Deed and Nettie (Suttle) Robbs.

He is survived by four children, Carla Ann (Bill) Robbs-Norris, Celia Rae Robbs, Richard Ryan (Sara) Osborne and Charles Calvin (Meranda Suttles) Robbs; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two siblings, Robbie Anderson of NY and Martha Ray Harris of GA.  Special friend for more than 30 years, Doshia Robbs. Alvin was preceded in death by three brothers, two sisters and son, Deed Quinton Gillem.

Mr. Robbs retired from Miami Industries as a Steel Worker. Alvin enjoyed working, bowling with friends, playing softball and watching sports. He would enjoy cheering for his beloved Atlanta Braves, Cleveland Browns, Los Angeles Lakers, NASCAR driver Mark Martin and NHRA driver John Force. Alvin always enjoyed telling stories about Georgia to his family and friends. He was a member of Prospect Baptist Church.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday January 24, 2024 at 1 PM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home 302 S. Main Ave Sidney with Pastor Michael Jadrnicek officiating. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery in Sidney, Ohio. Friends may visit from 11 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
