Allan "Tino" Smith

Allan “Tino” Smith age 72 of Sidney passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2025 at 4:05 AM at home. He was born the son of Lawrence and Shirley (Clark) Smith on December 15, 1952 in Romeo, Michigan.

Allan is survived by his loving family, wife Patricia (Scholl) Smith whom he married on January 11, 1975, his daughters Erin (Tom) Cornett and Heather Smith, grandchildren Alexis Smith and Ashly Smith, great grandchildren Aiden, Clayton, Christopher, Jace, Sadie and Claudia, a sister Edith (Marvin) Weaver and foster brothers and sisters The Browns.

Allan is preceded in death by his parents, a sister Kathy and a brother Larry.

Allan was a proud veteran of the United States Airforce. He was a man of many skills, building, flooring and a fixer of anything. A true Jack of all trades. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, and camping. He was a member of Sidney Eagles 1403 and American Legion Post 217. He loved to have everyone around him in good spirits and laughing. Most of all Allan was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother. He will be missed by all who love him.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2025 at 6:00 PM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home with Pastor Brent Wright officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4:00 PM until the time of service. Graveside Services will be held at a later date to be announced with full military honors.
