Zella Spurlock

ZELLA SPURLOCK, 91, of Celebration, FL, formerly of Sidney, passed away at 4:30 PM on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Consulate Health Care in Kissimmee, FL. She was born on April 26, 1926 in Denny, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Grant and Ada (Jones) Clark. On October 24, 1953 she married John Spurlock Jr. whom preceded her in death on June 6, 2004.

Zella is survived by one son, Timothy Spurlock of Celebration, FL, five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, one great-great-grandchild, two brothers, Grant Clark Jr. of Cincinnati, and Winfred Clark of Somerset, KY and one sister, Stella Clark of Somerset, KY. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Anita Brandyberry.

Mrs. Spurlock was homemaker and enjoyed being at home taking care of the family. She was a long time member of Grace Baptist Church in Sidney. Most of all she loved her family and spending time with them and making many precious memories with them.

Funeral Services will be held at 12 noon on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home 302 S. Main Ave. Sidney with Pastor James Alter officiating. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday from 11 AM until hour of service.
