William B Schulten Jr.

WILLIAM B. SCHULTEN JR., age 71 of Sidney, passed away Monday, October 8, 2018 at 2:41 PM at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born on October 10, 1946 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of the late William B. Sr. and Vera (Wilberding) Schulten.

On April 14, 1978 William married Kathleen Kunkler who survives along with three children, Elizabeth Schulten of Cincinnati, Ryan (Monica) Schulten of Pt. Jefferson, and Laurie (Josh) Bradley of Quincy, seven grandchildren, Brianna, Braden, Kayla, Briana, Zach, Logan and Austin, one great-granddaughter, Myla, and his special dog, Maggie. He was preceded in death by one sister, Carol Schulten.

Mr. Schulten worked as a sporting goods manager at K-Mart for over 32 years, and later retired from Whirlpool in Greenville after 10 years.

Bill enjoyed hunting and fishing, listening to the Cincinnati Reds on the radio, and watching the Cincinnati Bengals. He loved animals and rescued many over the years. Above all, he loved his family.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, October 12, 2018 at 10 AM at Sidney Baptist Church, 1322 E. Court St, with Pastor John Butts officiating. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery in Sidney. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4 to 7 PM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave.
